Growing up in Australia, Halloween was a something we were only familiar with thanks to American movies and TV shows. Remember the scene in ET when they take the cute alien trick or treating? That was probably my first introduction to Halloween. In the last few tears though, it has slowly become ‘a thing’ here and shops are currently full of plastic orange pumpkins and ghouls.
